F.49 - eBUS fault

What does F.49 mean?

The eBUS system has detected a fault, possibly due to a short circuit, an overload, or incorrect power supply polarity.

  • Short circuit on eBUS
  • eBUS overload
  • Two power supplies with different polarities on the eBUS

    Press the reset button on the boiler display up to three times to try and clear the fault.

    Visually inspect all eBUS connections to ensure they are properly seated and show no signs of short circuits.

    Verify that only one power supply is connected to the eBUS circuit, or that any multiple supplies have matching polarities.

  4. 4

    If the fault persists, contact customer service or a qualified technician for further diagnosis of the eBUS system.
