F.72 - Flow/return NTC temperature difference too great

What does F.72 mean?

The temperature difference measured by the flow and return NTC sensors is implausibly large, suggesting one or both sensors may be defective.

Common Causes

  • The flow temperature sensor is defective.
  • The return temperature sensor is defective.

    Press the reset button on the boiler display up to three times to try and clear the fault.

  2. 2

    Contact customer service. This fault indicates an implausible temperature difference between the flow and return NTC sensors.

  3. 3

    A qualified technician will need to diagnose and potentially replace the defective flow and/or return temperature sensor.
