F5E2 — Lid Lock Will Not Lock Or Lid Lock Failure

What does F5E2 mean?

This fault is displayed if the lid lock mechanism fails to engage or the control cannot confirm it is in a locked state. This can be due to obstructions, buildup, or an internal component issue.

• Lid is not closed completely due to interference.
• Wash media buildup (e.g., detergent residue) is preventing the lock bolt from extending.
• Main control detects an open lid switch when attempting to lock.
• Faulty lid lock mechanism or main control board.
