F5E3 — Lid Lock Will Not Unlock

What does F5E3 mean?

This fault is displayed when the lid lock mechanism is unable to retract, preventing the lid from opening. This can be caused by external force, internal buildup, or a control issue that prevents the unlock command.

• Excessive force or weight on the lid is preventing the lock bolt from retracting.
• Wash media buildup (e.g., detergent residue) is preventing the lock bolt from retracting.
• Main control board cannot determine if the lid lock is in an unlocked state or is faulty.
