What does Won't Start mean?

The washer/dryer does not begin a cycle when you press the START button, and there is no visible response from the appliance.

Common Causes

  • Control lock is activated.
  • The door lock mechanism is not functioning, or the door is not completely closed.
  • An internal problem with the Human-Machine Interface (HMI) or Appliance Control Unit (ACU).
