Won’t Start Cycle - No response when START button is pressed

What does Won't Start mean?

The washer/dryer does not begin a cycle when you press the START button, and there is no visible response from the appliance.

• Control lock is activated.
• The door lock mechanism is not functioning, or the door is not completely closed.
• An internal problem with the Human-Machine Interface (HMI) or Appliance Control Unit (ACU).

   Check if the control lock icon (usually above the Start button) is on; if so, press and hold the Control Lock button to deactivate it.

   Ensure the washer/dryer door is completely closed and latched without any obstructions.

   Unplug the washer/dryer, wait 30 seconds, and then reconnect the power cord to reset the appliance.
