3-2 - Thermistor/ OWI - Shorted

What does 3-2 mean?

There is a short circuit or component in the temperature sensing circuit. This can also occur if the incoming water temperature is too high.

• Incoming water temperature above 167°F (75°C)
• Shorted connection or component in the Temperature Sensing circuit
• Shorted or faulty temperature sensor
• Issue with the temperature sensor input on the control

   Check the incoming water temperature.

   Check the operation of the temperature sensor in the Service Diagnostics cycle.

   Unplug the dishwasher or disconnect power.

   Check all components and connections in the Temperature Sensing circuit using a meter.
