The diverter system is unable to reach its correct position. This could be due to a faulty sensor, a loose connection, or mechanical binding.

Check the diverter operation during the Service Diagnostics Cycle.
Unplug dishwasher or disconnect power.
Check connections in the diverter sensor and motor circuit with a meter. Fix or replace faulty connections/parts.
Inspect the diverter sensor for signs of water or contaminants; replace if found.
If the motor vibrates/hums but shows limited rotation, replace the diverter and seal. If control board circuits are suspected, replace the control board.
