What does Diverter Can't Find Position mean?

The diverter system is unable to reach its correct position. This could be due to a faulty sensor, a loose connection, or mechanical binding.

• Corroded or loose connection in diverter sensor/motor circuit
• Open or shorted diverter sensor/motor
• Mechanical binding of the diverter shaft/disc
• Control board diverter motor drive circuit issue

   Check the diverter operation during the Service Diagnostics Cycle.

   Unplug dishwasher or disconnect power.

   Check connections in the diverter sensor and motor circuit with a meter. Fix or replace faulty connections/parts.

   Inspect the diverter sensor for signs of water or contaminants; replace if found.

   If the motor vibrates/hums but shows limited rotation, replace the diverter and seal. If control board circuits are suspected, replace the control board.
