The display shows 'F9 E1' or 'F09 E01', indicating an issue with the washer's drain pump system.

• Drain hose is improperly installed, such as extending too far into the standpipe (more than 4 1/2 inches or 114 mm).
• Drain hose is kinked, pinched, or blocked.
• A clog exists in the drain hose or household plumbing.
• The end of the drain hose is positioned higher than 96 inches (2.4 m) above the floor.
