What does Water Leaks mean?

Water is observed leaking from the washer, which can stem from various installation issues or clogged components related to water input or drainage.

• Fill hoses are not attached tightly to the washer or household faucets.
• Fill hose washers are not properly seated, allowing water to escape.
• The drain hose connection is not properly secured to the drainpipe or laundry tub.
• The drain pump filter (on some models) is not correctly seated in its housing.
• Clogged household plumbing, such as a sink or drainpipe, causing water to back up.
• A strainer or nylon stocking placed on the end of the drain hose is clogged.

   Tighten all fill-hose connections securely at both the washer and the wall faucets.

   Verify that all four fill-hose flat washers are properly seated at the connections.

   Check that the drain hose is correctly inserted and securely fastened to the drainpipe or laundry tub.

   If your model has a drain pump filter, ensure it is correctly placed in its housing; refer to your manual for 'Cleaning the Drain Pump Filter'.

   Inspect household plumbing for any leaks, including laundry tubs, drain pipes, water pipes, and faucets.

   Remove any strainer or nylon stocking from the end of the drain hose if it appears clogged.
