Washer Won't Agitate

What does Won't Agitate mean?

The washer tub does not move back and forth to agitate clothes during the wash cycle. This can be caused by the lid being open, a problem with the drive system, or the motor.

• Loose electrical connections to the drive system.

• Motor or tachometer problem.
