Washer Won't Fill with Water

What does Won't Fill mean?

The Washing Machine begins a cycle but no water enters the tub, or insufficient water is dispensed. This can be caused by problems with the water supply, filters, or internal components.

• Water supply connections are off or blocked.
• Plugged filter screens in water valve or hoses.
• Drain hose installed improperly (siphoning).
• Water inlet valve problem.
• Pressure hose or sensor issue.
• Washer needs calibration.

   Verify that both the hot and cold water supply faucets to the washer are fully turned on.

   Check the water inlet hoses for kinks or blockages and ensure they are properly connected.

   Inspect the filter screens in the water valve or hoses for clogs and clean them if necessary.

   Ensure the drain hose is installed correctly to prevent water from siphoning out prematurely.

   If a new main control or drive component was installed, perform a washer calibration cycle (see manual page 4).
