6 fault codes documented
Blue light flashing — Possible fault alert
The blue heat requirement demand light, even if normally deactivated, will flash when the boiler detects a possible fault. This serves as a general alert that there is an issue needing attention.
Blue light flashing and Alert symbol on display — Appliance fault detected.
When the appliance detects a fault, an alert symbol and a fault code will be displayed on the screen, and the blue operation/fault light will flash. This is a general indication of a system fault.
EA fault code flashing on display — No gas, blocked condensate, or blocked flue.
The appliance displays an EA fault code and the blue operation/fault light flashes. This indicates a problem with the gas supply, a blocked condensate pipe, or a blocked flue.
No blue Operation/Fault Indicator demand light — No heat demand or power issue.
The blue light, which normally illuminates when there is a central heating or hot water demand, is not on. This could be due to a brief power interruption or the light being deactivated.
Hot water temperature too high — Water is excessively hot.
The domestic hot water coming from your taps is too hot. This can be caused by the appliance settings or the water flow rate.
Smell of gas — Potential gas leak
If you detect the smell of gas, this indicates a potential gas leak, which is a very dangerous situation. Immediate action is required to prevent severe injury or an explosion.
