Error F-XX appears on display - Option and START/PAUSE lights flash rapidly

What does F-xx Error mean?

The display shows an error code starting with 'F-' (e.g., F-01). Simultaneously, the 'option' and START/PAUSE indicator lights flash rapidly. This indicates an internal appliance malfunction.
