What does Dishes Scratched mean?

Scratches on dishes can occur from items hitting each other during the wash cycle, or from improper salt usage leading to salt leakage. Aluminum items can also be scratched.

• Dishes are not placed orderly, allowing them to touch and strike each other.
• Kitchen utensils containing or made of aluminum were washed.
• Salt leakage exists due to improper filling or a loose reservoir lid.

   Place glasses and other glassware into the basket so they lean against racks or basket edges, not other dishes.

   Avoid washing kitchen utensils made of aluminum in the Dishwasher.

   Pay attention not to spill salt around the salt filling hole. Ensure the salt reservoir lid is tightly closed after filling.

   Run a prewash program to remove any spilled salt after refilling.
