What does 7 flashes mean?

The washing machine door is not closing or locking correctly, preventing the cycle from starting or continuing. This is indicated by 'E7' on the display or 7 LED flashes.

• The door is not closed correctly.
• Items in the drum are preventing the door from closing fully.
