Candy Washing Machines
32 fault codes documented
2 flashes — Machine cannot load water
The washing machine is unable to fill with water, which may interrupt the wash cycle. This is indicated by 'E2' on the display or 2 LED flashes.
3 flashes — Washing machine does not drain water
The machine is unable to empty water, which can lead to prolonged wash times or incomplete cycles. This is indicated by 'E3' on the display or 3 LED flashes.
4 flashes — Too much foam and/or water
Excessive foam or water levels detected, which may affect performance and possibly stop the cycle. This is indicated by 'E4' on the display or 4 LED flashes.
7 flashes — Door problem
The washing machine door is not closing or locking correctly, preventing the cycle from starting or continuing. This is indicated by 'E7' on the display or 7 LED flashes.
Abundant foam during wash
Excessive foam, often due to anionic surfactants in detergents, can be difficult to eliminate. This does not necessarily mean poor rinsing.
WARNING: Dispensers used for concentrated powders and liquid detergents must be removed from the drum
Before starting a tumble drying program, any dispensers used for concentrated powders or liquid detergents must be removed from the drum.
Display shows 'End' — Cycle finished
The word 'End' appearing on the display signifies that the wash or drying cycle has successfully completed.
Display shows two lines — Standby mode
On some models, two lines on the display indicate the machine has entered standby mode after the program has finished.
Display shows 'h00' — Delay start is off
This display indicates that the delay start function is not currently active and the program will start immediately when START/PAUSE is pressed.
Display shows 'h01' to 'h24' — Delay start is active
These displays indicate that the delay start function is set for the number of hours shown. The program will begin automatically after this delay.
Door Locked light flashing — Door not properly closed
The door locked indicator light flashing for about 7 seconds means the door is not properly closed. The start command will be automatically cancelled.
Door Locked light solid — Door is locked
The door locked indicator light remains on when the door is fully closed and ready for operation. It will turn off when the cycle is complete and it is safe to open.
Drying Selection indicator lights — Indicates selected drying level
These lights show the selected degree of dryness: EXTRA DRY for bulky items, IRON DRY for items needing ironing, and CUPBOARD DRY for items to be put away.
WARNING: After cancelling the drying programme, wait
When a drying programme is cancelled, a cool down phase begins. You must wait approximately 10-20 minutes before opening the door to avoid burns.
Error E2 — Machine cannot load water
The washing machine is unable to fill with water, which may interrupt the wash cycle. This is indicated by 'E2' on the display or 2 LED flashes.
Error E3 — Washing machine does not drain water
The machine is unable to empty water, which can lead to prolonged wash times or incomplete cycles. This is indicated by 'E3' on the display or 3 LED flashes.
Error E4 — Too much foam and/or water
Excessive foam or water levels detected, which may affect performance and possibly stop the cycle. This is indicated by 'E4' on the display or 4 LED flashes.
Error E7 — Door problem
The washing machine door is not closing or locking correctly, preventing the cycle from starting or continuing. This is indicated by 'E7' on the display or 7 LED flashes.
Spin cycle affected by excessive foaming
Using too much detergent can create excessive foam, which may cause the spin cycle to be skipped or extended, and increase water usage.
Foam in the water at the last rinse
The presence of foam during the final rinse does not necessarily indicate poor rinsing. It can be caused by specific surfactants in detergents.
Key Lock light on — Keys are locked
This indicator light shows that the control panel keys are locked to prevent accidental changes during a cycle.
Kg Detector light on — Load weighing in progress
During the first minutes of a cycle, this light indicates that the machine is weighing the laundry load to adjust water, time, and electricity consumption.
WARNING: Oil-affected items can ignite
Items soiled with oil-based products pose a fire risk when dried in the machine due to spontaneous oxidation. They should be washed first in hot water.
Any other error code — Reset the machine
If an unknown error code appears or the machine is unresponsive, a reset may resolve the issue. This applies to any error not specifically listed.
Spin Speed indicator lights — Shows selected spin speed
These lights indicate the selected spin speed. The speed can be reduced or omitted using the relevant button.
Strong vibrations or noises heard during the spin cycle
Unusual vibrations or noises during the spin cycle can be caused by an uneven load, the machine not being level, or transport packaging not being removed.
WARNING: Keep packaging materials away from children.
Packaging materials, including transport screws and plastic parts, should be kept away from children to prevent choking hazards.
Washing machine does not spin correctly due to unbalanced load
The machine has a system to protect against damage from unbalanced loads during the spin cycle. This may cause longer spin times, reduced spin speed, or the cycle aborting.
Wash Temperature indicator lights — Shows selected wash temperature
These lights indicate the selected wash temperature. If you want a cold wash, ensure all these indicators are off.
Water leaked on the floor near the washing machine
Water detected on the floor near the machine could indicate a leak from the tap, hose, or fill valve connection.
WARNING: Water may reach very high temperatures
This warning indicates that the water used during the wash cycle can become extremely hot. Caution is advised when handling laundry or opening the door.
White powder on laundry after washing
A white powder, often zeolites from ecological detergents, may appear on laundry. This is normal and does not affect rinsing efficiency or color.
