Error E4 — Too much foam and/or water

What does E4 mean?

Excessive foam or water levels detected, which may affect performance and possibly stop the cycle. This is indicated by 'E4' on the display or 4 LED flashes.

• Incorrect amount of detergent used.
• Detergent not designed for automatic washing machines.
