Code 34-11 Compressor High Temp Limiting — Compressor discharge temperature is too high

What does 34-11 mean?

The compressor's discharge temperature has exceeded 230°F. The system will reduce capacity by 25% on the next startup to mitigate this. Each hour of operation without faults will gradually restore capacity. Continuous high temperatures can lead to a lockout.

Common Causes

  • Low refrigerant charge.
  • Very high superheat.
