What does MF Error mean?

A Meter Full (MF) error is a transparent error indicating that the zone usage meter on the slave thermostat has reached its maximum recording value. The meter stops recording further usage until this error is cleared. This error is not displayed on the thermostat itself but is accessed and reset using the PC Command Center.

Common Causes

  • The zone usage meter has reached its maximum value.
  • Continuous operation over an extended period without the meter being read or reset.

    Establish communications with the slave thermostat using the PC Command Center software.

    Initiate a Device Inquiry for the specific slave thermostat showing the MF Error.

  3. 3

    Perform the 'Modify Device Information' command from the PC Command Center screen.

    Activate the 'Clear Usage Meter' option by pressing its corresponding letter.

  5. 5

    Press the SPACEBAR to switch the option to ON, then press ENTER.

  6. 6

    Press F1 to 'Perform Update' and wait for acknowledgement before exiting.
