What does light 1 and 2 flash after steam mean?

After using the steam function, the machine can become too hot to immediately make coffee. The green One Cup and Two Cup lights will flash.

• Machine is overheated from steam production.

   Wait approximately ten minutes for the machine to cool down naturally.

   To cool down faster: open the steam knob and release some water from the milk frother into a container.

   Continue releasing water until the green One Cup and Two Cup lights stop flashing, indicating it's ready to make coffee again.
