Error 84 — Current sensor error

What does 84 mean?

This error occurs when the Input Current sensor detects 0A while the Inverter Compressor is operating at higher than 56rps, 1 minute after starting (except during defrost). The outdoor unit shows no indication.

Common Causes

  • Defective connection of outdoor unit electrical components
  • External causes such as voltage drop or noise on the power supply
  • Outdoor unit Main PCB failure
