Error 95 — Compressor rotor position detection error

What does 95 mean?

This error occurs if the compressor detects the rotor location is out of phase with the actual rotor location. If this happens and repeats 5 times, the compressor stops permanently. The outdoor unit shows no indication.

• Defective connection of electric components around the compressor
• Main PCB failure
• Compressor failure

   Check for removed connectors, erroneous connections, or open cables around the compressor components. Correct any issues and reset the power.

   Turn on power and listen for any abnormal noise from the compressor. If abnormal noise is present, the compressor may need replacement.

   If basic connection checks don't resolve the issue, a technician should check the Main PCB or Compressor.
