Alarm 29 — Forced pumping

What does 29 mean?

Other pumps or external sources are forcing flow through this pump, even when it is stopped and switched off. The pump has stopped due to this alarm. The Grundfos Eye might show a light indicating forced-pumping mode.

Common Causes

  • Defective or incorrectly positioned non-return valves in the system.
  • Other pumps in the system are generating unwanted flow through this pump.
