E7 or 7 LED flashes - Door problem

What does E7 mean?

The Washing Machine's door is not properly closed or there's an issue with the door lock mechanism. For models without a display, this is shown by 7 flashes of the LEDs followed by a 5-second pause, repeating.

Common Causes

  • The door is not correctly closed
  • Clothes inside the drum are preventing the door from closing fully
  • The door lock mechanism is stuck or faulty

    Make sure the door is fully and correctly closed; you should hear a click.

    Check that no clothes or items are caught between the door and the seal, preventing it from closing.

    If the door is locked, turn off and unplug the Washing Machine from the electrical supply socket. Wait 2-3 minutes and then try to reopen the door.
