What does Filter Status Indicator mean?

The display shows a filter status indicator to remind you that the grease filters need cleaning or the charcoal filters need replacing. This ensures proper ventilation and air filtration for your microwave oven.

Common Causes

  • Grease filters are dirty and require cleaning
  • Charcoal filters have reached their recommended replacement interval (approximately every 6 months)

    Inspect the grease filters on the underside of the microwave oven and clean them with mild soap and water or in a dishwasher.

    If your model uses charcoal filters (located behind the vent grille), remove and replace them if due.

  3. 3

    After cleaning/replacing, touch SETUP/CLOCK on the control panel to access the Filter Reset submenu.

  4. 4

    Activate the reset function within the Filter Reset submenu to clear the indicator from the display.
