What does Disposal Knockout Missing mean?

When connecting the dishwasher's drain hose to a garbage disposal, the knockout plug was not removed from the disposal's connection nipple. This will block drainage and prevent the dishwasher from emptying water.

    Reconnect the drain hose securely to the garbage disposal.
