What does Intake/Drain light flashing, Warning buzzer mean?

The dishwasher stopped working shortly after the program started. The warning buzzer is sounding and the Intake/Drain indicator light is flashing on and off. This indicates that the water supply to the dishwasher is interrupted.

• The main water supply valve to the dishwasher is turned off.
