Display shows  flashing — Lock code active, dryer cannot be operated

What does  flashes mean?

After the dryer is switched on, '' flashes in the time display and a program cannot be selected. This means the lock code function is activated, preventing the dryer from being used without authorization.

• The lock code function has been activated.
• The correct code has not been entered after switching on the dryer.

   Turn on the dryer.

   Touch the '' sensor until '' flashes in the first position of the display.

   Confirm this selection with the Start/Stop sensor. Enter the remaining two numbers of the code ('') in the same way.

   The dryer will be ready for use after the full code '' has been entered and confirmed.
