What does  and  alternate mean?

The symbols  and  appear alternately on the time display. This indicates that the washing machine door is not closed properly or the door lock could not engage, preventing the program from starting or continuing.

• The washing machine door is not fully latched.
• Laundry or a foreign object is obstructing the door from closing completely.

   Ensure the washing machine door is firmly pushed closed until you hear a clear click.

   Check for any items, such as laundry, that might be caught between the door and the drum opening.
