 Door lock — Door is not closed properly or lock failed

What does  Door lock mean?

The display shows ' Door lock' and states 'The door will not lock. Call Miele'. This indicates an issue with the door latch preventing the program from starting.

• The Washing Machine door is not closed properly.
• The door lock mechanism could not engage securely.
