U

U — Low water pressure, program canceled

Miele · W1 Washing Machines

What does U mean?

The program has been canceled because the water pressure is too low, below 100 kPa (1 bar). This prevents proper operation of the wash cycle.

Common Causes

  • Insufficient household water pressure.
  • Water inlet tap to the washing machine is not fully open.

Repair Steps & Checklist

Click steps to track your progress.

  1. 1

Check your household water supply to ensure there is adequate pressure for the washing machine.

  2. 2

Verify that the water inlet tap connected to the washing machine is completely open.

  3. 3

If low pressure persists, consider activating the 'Low water pressure' function (F05) in the programmable settings to prevent program cancellations.
