What does Display dark mean?

The washing machine's display is unlit and the Start/Stop button indicator light is off, indicating that the appliance is not receiving electrical power.

• Mains plug is not plugged in or switched on.
• Fuse or circuit breaker has tripped.
• Washing machine switched off automatically to save energy.
