What does Unit unresponsive mean?

The indoor unit does not respond to the remote controller, and the OPERATION INDICATOR lamp does not light up even when the EMERGENCY OPERATION switch is pressed. This indicates a fundamental power supply issue or a major fault within the indoor unit's main electronic control board or related components.

Common Causes

  • No power supplied to the indoor unit.
  • Blown fuse on the indoor electronic control P.C. board.
  • Burnt varistor on the indoor electronic control P.C. board.
  • Short circuit or open circuit in the indoor fan motor or vane motor.
  • Faulty indoor electronic control P.C. board.

    Turn OFF the main power supply to the air conditioner at the circuit breaker.

    Wait for at least 1 minute to allow the system to fully reset.

    Turn the main power supply back ON and attempt to operate the unit.

    Check if any circuit breakers related to the air conditioner have tripped and reset them if necessary.

    If the unit remains completely unresponsive, contact a qualified service technician. Internal components like fuses, varistors, and motors need to be professionally inspected.
