What does MAC-558/559 LED 1 0.5 sec interval, LED 2 ON, LED 3 OFF mean?

On MAC-558/559 models, a rapid flash of LED 1 (0.5 seconds) with LED 2 solid ON and LED 3 OFF indicates that communication with both the server and the access point has failed, while communication with the Heat Pump is still in the startup phase.
