E57 - Insufficient refrigerant or service valve closed

What does E57 mean?

The remote control displays E57 (while the indoor unit's green LED keeps flashing and red LED stays off). This indicates either an insufficient amount of refrigerant in the system or that a service valve is closed.

• Shortage in refrigerant quantity
• Service valve (liquid or gas side) is closed
