E7 / 1 Red Flash - Return air temperature sensor anomaly

What does E7 / 1 Red Flash mean?

The remote control displays E7, and the indoor unit's red LED flashes once (while the green LED keeps flashing). This indicates an issue with the indoor return air temperature sensor.

• A defective temperature sensor (element, broken wire, short-circuit)
• Poor contact of the sensor connector
• Defective indoor unit control PCB
