NIBE · SMO 40 Control Module
The NIBE SMO 40 control module or a connected Heat Pump has detected a problem that requires attention. The status lamp on the unit will change from green to a solid red, and an alarm bell icon will appear in the information window on the display.
Click steps to track your progress.
Turn the control knob and press OK on the display to access the alarm menu and view the specific alarm message.
Select 'reset alarm' from the display menu; if the status lamp turns green, the problem has been resolved.
If the red light remains and the 'alarm' menu is still visible, check the position of the main switch (SF1) and ensure all group and main fuses for your accommodation are intact.
Verify the miniature circuit breaker for the SMO 40 (FA1) and the property's earth circuit breaker.
Check any installed load monitor for correct settings.
If the alarm persists after these checks, the underlying problem is still present and may require assistance from a qualified technician.
