What does Communication error (Main Address) mean?

A communication error will occur if the main address for an indoor unit is set to a value outside the acceptable range of 0 to 3. This prevents proper communication within the air conditioning system.

Common Causes

  • The main address of the indoor unit is set to a value other than 0, 1, 2, or 3.
  • Incorrect settings for SEG5 and SEG6 during manual address configuration.
