Error E202 — Indoor/outdoor communication error

What does E202 mean?

This error code indicates a communication problem between the indoor and outdoor units of your Samsung 360 Cassette Air Conditioner. It can occur if communication or power wires are incorrectly connected or if there is an issue with the communication circuit on a PCB.

• Incorrect communication wire connection (F1: Red, F2: Blue).
• Incorrect power wire connections (1(L), 2(N)) and communication connections (F1, F2).
• Fault in the communication IC on the outdoor unit Main PCB.
• Fault in the TVS-Diode on the outdoor unit Main PCB.

   Turn off the main power to the air conditioner, wait for 30 seconds, then turn the power back on.

   Check that the communication wires (F1: Red, F2: Blue) are correctly and securely connected between the indoor and outdoor units.

   Verify that the power wires (1(L), 2(N)) and communication wires (F1, F2) are correctly connected to their respective terminals.

   Reconnect the communication connector (CN301 for AC060/072/KXPBH1 or CN31 for AC090/110/130/145KX4PSH1) on the outdoor unit PCB.

   If the error persists after checking connections, the outdoor unit Main PCB may need to be inspected or replaced by a service technician.
