E203 — Communication error between indoor and outdoor units

What does E203 mean?

This error indicates a problem with the communication connection or power supply between your indoor and outdoor air conditioning units. It can prevent the system from operating correctly.

Common Causes

  • Loose or incorrect communication wiring (F1: Red, F2: Blue).
  • Improper power connections (1(L), 2(N)).
  • Faulty communication circuit on the main control board of the outdoor unit.

    Turn off the air conditioner at the main power switch or circuit breaker and wait at least 30 seconds.

    Turn the power back on and see if the error clears.

    Check that all communication cables between the indoor and outdoor units are correctly and securely connected, specifically F1 (Red) and F2 (Blue).

    Ensure the power connections (1(L), 2(N)) are also securely connected.
