E425 — Reverse phase or open phase (3-phase)

What does E425 mean?

The 3-phase power supply to the outdoor unit has a reverse phase (incorrect phase sequence) or an open phase (one or more phases missing).

Common Causes

  • Incorrect wiring of the 3-phase power supply (reversed)
  • Disconnection or loss of one of the 3 power phases (opened)
  • Faulty electrical connection or breaker
