What does Safety Shutdown (Hot/Cold Batteries) mean?

The PT has performed a Safety Shutdown because the Batteries have become too hot or too cold, affecting safe operation.

   Allow Batteries to warm or cool to within the recommended operating temperature range prior to riding.

   If starting in cold weather, try warming the PT by bringing it into a warm environment for at least 30 minutes.
