Safety Shutdown - PT automatically stops

What does Safety Shutdown mean?

The Segway PT stops itself if it detects a system fault or critically low battery. It will shake the handlebar, make noises, flash balance lights, emit a tone, and show an unhappy face on the InfoKey display.

• Critical battery level reached
• Fault detected in a redundant system

   Immediately come to a controlled stop.

   Carefully step off the Segway PT.

   Do not attempt to restart and ride until the cause is identified and fixed.
