Cook Complete notification — Cooking has ended
The grill has finished the cooking cycle you set. You have options to continue or shut down.
E1 — Auger Jam
The grill's auger, which feeds pellets, is blocked by pellets or debris, preventing proper operation. The grill will automatically run a shutdown procedure if it is hot.
E2 — Fan Error
The grill's fan is not operating correctly. The grill will automatically run a shutdown procedure if it is hot.
E3 error code — Diagnostic issue
The grill controller is displaying an E3 error code after performing internal diagnostics.
E4 — Communication Failure (App Notification)
The grill's controller has lost communication. This error will only be seen in the Weber Connect app. The grill will automatically run a shutdown procedure if it is hot.
E5 — Grill is too Hot
The grill has detected an excessively high temperature. The grill will automatically run a shutdown procedure if it is hot, and the lid should remain closed during this process.
E6 — Start Up Failure
The grill failed to ignite properly during the startup sequence. The grill will automatically run a shutdown procedure if it is hot.
E7 — Motor Failure
The grill's motor, typically for the auger, is not operating. The grill will automatically run a shutdown procedure if it is hot.
E8 — Thermocouple Error
The grill's temperature sensor (thermocouple) is not functioning correctly, leading to inaccurate temperature readings. The grill will automatically run a shutdown procedure if it is hot.
E9 — Low Fuel Detection Error
The grill's low fuel sensor indicates that the pellet level is critically low. The grill will automatically run a shutdown procedure if it is hot.
Improper Shutdown notification — Grill was not shut down correctly
The grill was powered off or unplugged while it was still hot or before its complete shutdown procedure finished.
Loss of Temperature notification — Grill temperature dropped below set point
The grill is failing to maintain the desired cooking temperature, most commonly due to a lack of fuel.
Low Fuel notification — Pellets are running low
The grill controller is indicating that the pellet hopper needs to be refilled to continue cooking.
Shutdown Started notification — Grill is performing its shutdown sequence
The grill has begun its automated process to burn off excess fuel, clear the auger, clean the burn pot, and cool down for storage.
