E41 — Door is open

What does E41 mean?

The Washing Machine detects that the door is open or not properly closed, pausing the current wash cycle.

• The door safety interlock mechanism is faulty.
• Defective wiring connected to the door interlock.
• A faulty main board or circuit board.
• Obstruction preventing the door from closing fully.
