E57 — Inverter drawing too much current (>15A)

What does E57 mean?

The inverter is drawing excessive current, above 15 Amperes. This stops the cycle and locks the door after several attempts.

Common Causes

  • A defective motor.
  • Defective wiring on the inverter for the motor.
  • A faulty inverter board.
