E57 — Inverter drawing too much current (>15A)

What does E57 mean?

The inverter is drawing excessive current, above 15 Amperes. This stops the cycle and locks the door after several attempts.

• A defective motor.
• Defective wiring on the inverter for the motor.
• A faulty inverter board.

   Turn the program selector to '0' or OFF to reset the appliance.

   Unplug the Washing Machine from the power outlet and wait for at least 30 seconds.

   Plug the machine back in and try to start a new cycle.
