E58 — Motor drawing too much current (>4.5A)

What does E58 mean?

The motor is drawing too much current, exceeding 4.5 Amperes, possibly due to an overload. The cycle stops and the door locks.

• A defective motor.
• Defective wiring on the inverter for the motor.
• A faulty inverter board.
• Abnormal motor operation or an overloaded motor (e.g., too much laundry).
