E62 — Overheating during wash cycle

What does E62 mean?

The Washing Machine has detected an overheating condition during the wash cycle. A safety drain cycle is initiated, and the machine stops with the door unlocked.

• A defective NTC sensor for the wash cycle.
• A faulty heating element.
• Defective wiring related to the heating system.
• A faulty main board or circuit board.

   Turn the program selector to '0' or OFF to reset the appliance.

   Unplug the Washing Machine from the power outlet and allow it to cool down completely for at least 30 minutes.

   Ensure there is adequate water supply and that the drain hose is not blocked.

   Plug the machine back in and try to start a new cycle. If the error persists, contact an authorized service technician.
