E71 — NTC sensor for wash cycle defective

What does E71 mean?

The NTC (Negative Temperature Coefficient) sensor, which monitors water temperature during the wash cycle, is defective. This causes the heating phase to be skipped.

Common Causes

  • A defective NTC sensor.
  • Defective wiring connected to the NTC sensor.
  • A faulty main board or circuit board.
