Continuous lighting (LED2 Green), Off (LED1 Red)

Hydraulic Indoor Unit LED2 (Green) Solid, LED1 (Red) Off - Defrosting

Fujitsu · Waterstage SuperHP Heat Pumps

What does Continuous lighting (LED2 Green), Off (LED1 Red) mean?

The indoor unit's interface LED2 (Green) remaining constantly lit while LED1 (Red) is off indicates the system is currently in defrosting mode. This is a normal operational status, not an error.

Common Causes

  • The outdoor unit coil has accumulated frost, and the system is automatically removing it.
  • Environmental conditions (low ambient temperature, high humidity) are conducive to frost buildup.

Repair Steps & Checklist

Click steps to track your progress.

  1. 1

Allow the defrosting cycle to complete naturally; this is a normal function.

  2. 2

Do not attempt to manually clear frost from the outdoor unit.

  3. 3

Ensure the outdoor unit has clear space around it for proper airflow.
